International Long Covid Awareness Day

On International Long Covid Awareness Day, we pay tribute to everyone living with this devastating condition and those caring for them. Long Covid is having an impact on long-term ill health and disability, in turn impacting on employment and the economy. It shouldn’t be ignored. It cannot continue to be ignored.

Nearly 3 million adults and over 100,000 children are diagnosed with Long Covid in the UK alone. There will be many more not yet diagnosed. Every infection or reinfection runs the risk of developing Long Covid, regardless of any pre-existing conditions. Previously fit and healthy people have developed Long Covid. Some people have developed Long Covid symptoms even after a mild infection.

Our CEO, Laura Evans, is proud to advise on employment and policy on the Advisory Board of Long Covid Support, and its strategy launch online today.

Get in touch with if you need advice on how to support employees living with Long Covid, either themselves or carers for someone with this devastating condition. We also advise on how to minimise the risk of your workforce developing Long Covid.
