Laura Evans is Member of ELA Working Party on Call for Evidence: Parental Leave and Pay

CEO, Laura Evans, was pleased to be a member of another Working Party and contribute experience and expertise to the Employment Lawyers Association’s response to ‘Call for Evidence: Parental Leave and Pay Review’.

Based on nearly two decades’ work, Laura specifically contributed on the areas of:
• Economic growth
• Labour Market participation
• Statutory leave and pay parity
• Gender pay and career progression gaps
• Modernising statutory entitlements
• Disability, birth injury, bereavement, or other additional care needs for either the birth parent or child
• Multiple births
• Fertility
• Surrogacy
• Cost of living impacts on childcare options
• Reviewing in the round with wider employment law around flexible working and the Equality Act 2010
