Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility. As a progressive organisation whose purpose is Influencing Change for Work-Life Inclusion, Glass Ceilings Change Management is proud to stand in allyship with transgender people and communities through all of our work.
This is particularly important during a concerning period where trans and non-binary people are facing hate speech, segregation, and exclusion on a daily basis.
I worked on development and implementation of equalities legislation and hate crime initiatives in policy roles early in my career. In 2010, I was privileged to be presented with an award for my work supporting the trans community and in tackling transphobia. I’ve been shocked and dismayed to see decades of progress quickly going backwards in recent times.
Glass Ceilings® will continue to advise organisations on doing the right thing and not discriminating against, harassing, or segregating any transgender colleagues, customers, or clients.
