Glass Ceilings® is hosting a free webinar on Flexible Working on 9th October.
It has been 10 years since the Flexible Working Regulations 2014 set out flexible working rights under the Employment Rights Act 1996, and in April this year the right to request flexible working became a Day 1 employment right.
In this webinar, we will explore what the law says now on flexible working rights and consider good practice, with proactive guidance and practical tips on what employers could start doing now to prepare for any further changes in light of recent announcements about the proposed Employment Rights Bill.
As always, we will consider how to be an inclusive employer when developing and implementing flexible and agile working policies, including consideration of how flexible working might co-exist with the proposed ‘right to switch off’.
Talking through what you need to know and practical examples, the webinar will help to:
• provide clarity to employers on what the law currently says and existing day 1 rights (which already came into effect in April this year)
• understand what good practice looks like, including in industries that don’t operate in an office-based environment
• consider how flexible working might co-exist with proposed right to switch off.
You’ll hear from our expert guest speakers, David Sillitoe and Simon Robinson, from Robinson Ralph, and then have a chance to ask questions in a Q&A.
