Laura Evans contributes to article on Employment Rights Bill changes on Day One Rights

Laura Evans, CEO, contributed to this article for Liverpool Chamber of Commerce on the government’s announcement last week to change plans for day one unfair dismissal rights to a six months’ qualifying period. Some may recall this change was something Laura predicted when former Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner resigned.

It has been a busy period recently with all the Employment Right Bill and other proposed Employment Law changes, and Laura has been several Employment Lawyers Association Working Parties responding to various government consultations this year. Over 20 separate consultations are expected in the next 12 months.
