In this special webinar celebrating International Women’s Day 2026, we were humbled to be joined by four truly inspirational women who each shared their journeys:
- Jacqueline Deans, a first generation Black British Barrister from Exchange Chambers;
- Lauren Cannon, co-founder and Director of award-winning international law firm In-House Legal Solutions;
- Sharon Livermore MBE, a domestic abuse survivor and advocate who founded Domestic Abuse Education to turn personal experience into meaningful change; and,
- Natasha Jonas MBE, a British professional boxer and one of the most important figures in the history of women’s boxing in Great Britain. A two-weight world champion and trailblazer, she became the first female boxer to represent Great Britain at the Olympic Games.
Laura Evans hosted the webinar, and shared some of her own journey in the introduction.
There was so much kindness, respect, and generosity throughout the webinar, representing the best of women supporting other women. We heard about celebrating successes, championing others, learning from failure, strength through adversity, life changing experiences, and surrounding yourself with good people, and so much more.
Many words of wisdom and inspiring quotes were shared from family members and mentors to poets to female Law Lords.
We also discussed the importance of male allies.
We hope you enjoy this webinar.
